Child and Adolescent ADHD
We are very pleased to have a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Rabjohn Behavioral Institute, PLLC.
Dr. Tam Redd has extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD in children and adolescents. ADHD is a common disorder with a multitude of treatment options. While people tend to focus on the hyperactive type, the inattentive type is more common and often missed in an elementary school setting. Dr. Redd utilizes a full 75-minute diagnostic interview to assess your child for ADHD. She can coordinate care with the school nurse and work in conjuction with your pediatrician for the best result. Both non-stimulant medication and stimulant medication are possible pharmacologic options for ADHD. In addition, Dr. Redd will discuss with your family various forms of psychotherapy and behavioral modifications to help your child.
